GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — Grand Rapids is getting set to host the 2024 Cider Week celebration next month.
The celebration is actually nine full days of fun that kicks off on May 10. There will be cider-inspired events like brunches and tap takeovers at local breweries and other establishments.
On top of the activities and specialty flight offerings at restaurants and bars, there will also be two special festivals coming to Grand Rapids during the back half of Cider Week.
The 18th annual Great Lakes International Cider & Perry Competition will take place in Grand Rapids from May 15 to May 17. The competition will aim to crown the world’s best ciders in a variety of categories.
Then on May 18 to finish out Cider Week, you can head down to Rosa Parks Circle for the Cider Festival, which will feature live music, local food and of course, cider.
